We are currently looking for a FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) Technician who will be responsible for FAT is completed on all units to ensure all systems meet internal quality standards and customer requirements prior to shipment. This role requires strict adherence to FAT procedures, accurate documentation, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring all FAT steps are completed in full before final approval and release.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete all Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) steps according to approved test procedures, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Set up and operate test equipment, including load banks and monitoring tools, to execute FAT testing requirements.
• Monitor unit performance during testing, including voltage, current, temperature, alarms, fault codes, and system stability.

·         Install finished components in fuel cells independently and assist on the process of building sub-components as necessary

·         Provide a good example on the basic safety standards and guidelines at the facility

·         Handle power tools and heavy equipment, including but not limited to power drills, forklifts, pump trucks, and an overhead crane

·         Receive fuel cell component deliveries and prepare them for use on the production line

·         Wrap and secure completed fuel cells for delivery

·         Complete preventative maintenance procedures and report malfunctions as needed

·         Maintain a safe and clean working environment through mopping, sweeping, and garbage disposal

·         Identify non-conforming components in the fuel cell and remove as needed

·         Document all building actions by continually updating production signoff sheets

Responsibilities

New Product Development

·       Design and develop mechanical and electromechanical components and systems for hydrogen fuel cell units.

·       Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.

·       Manage engineering files, revisions, and configuration control using PLM tools.

·       Participate in preliminary, critical, and crossfunctional design reviews.

·       Contribute to DFMEA activities and risk mitigation efforts.

·       Develop BOMs and maintain accuracy throughout the product lifecycle.

·       Support design release activities in collaboration with Quality, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams.

Prototype Development, Testing & Validation

·       Build, test, and validate prototype components and systems.

·       Develop test protocols and validation plans for components and complete products.

·       Analyze test data, prepare documentation, and communicate results to engineering leadership.

Lifecycle Engineering & Continuous Improvement

·       Support fielded units and customer service teams with troubleshooting and rootcause analysis.

·       Drive costreduction initiatives and identify opportunities for product improvement.

·       Lead engineering change notices (ECNs) and update documentation as products evolve.

·       Propose design enhancements that improve performance, manufacturability, or reliability.

Required Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.

·       3–7 years of experience in mechanical design, new product development, or related engineering environments.

·       Strong analytical, problemsolving, and datainterpretation skills.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

·       Ability to work handson in prototyping and testing environments.

·       Demonstrated desire to learn, adapt, and grow within a dynamic engineering team.

Desired Skills & Experience

·       Experience working in manufacturing environments, particularly assemblybased production.

·       Proficiency in SolidWorks 2023+ (CSWA certification a plus).

·       Selfstarter with the ability to independently drive engineering tasks and projects.

·       Knowledge of thermal systems, lowvoltage electrical systems, and common manufacturing materials.

·       Experience with design for manufacturability across sheet metal, injection molding, metal casting, CNC machining, and rapid prototyping.

·       Experience performing FEA or CFD simulations.

·       Experience with PEM fuel cell systems (preferred but not required).

As a Hydrogen Fuel Cell Service and Repair Technician, the successful candidates will work independently as well as alongside experienced manufacturing engineers and fellow technicians throughout various aspects of the service and maintenance process.

Activities will be within the Infintium Service Center as well as customer’s locations and various service dealerships across the US.

Essential Job Functions:

• Mechanical and electrical service and repair of hydrogen fuel cell power systems in industrial vehicles
• Follow process repair/ service documents and work instructions.
• Evaluate system design and recommend continuous improvements in design, integration, and regular maintenance.
• Participate in problem-solving processes.
• Support coordination of materials for service and repairs.
• Communicate status, results, next steps, etc. with customers, dealership counterparts, internal colleagues, etc.
• Complete daily uptime reports on units in the field.
• Provide parts look-up and support as required for technicians, customers, and dealers.
• Complete warranty/quality testing and procedural forms.
• Provide technical support and training via phone, on site, and classroom.

Requirements/qualifications:

• Be team-oriented, self-directed, and have strong inter-personal and organizational skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn via various methods, including internal seminars and self-driven means.
• Ability and willingness to travel local , North American regions and internationally to work at other sites, as required. (Up to 75% local and 25% long distance)

This role is responsible for ensuring that our internal and external customers receive quality products & services. Lead activities that drive quality for manufacturing, products, systems, processes and people that will exceed customer expectations. Drive our quality initiatives, quality monitoring methods, and implement best practices. Ensure our quality network and quality team meet all applicable quality standards.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Define & proactively manage company production & supplier quality requirements
• Manage manufacturing & supplier audit programs and facilitate corrective actions
• Manage investigations, analysis and root cause determination for customer product returns
• Ensure product development and manufacturing processes meet Infintium quality standards
• Ensure product design meets or exceeds Infintium product quality standards
• Manage the calibration program for all measurement devices
• Administer the Infintium first article and Product Part Approval Process.
• Support the product platforms in the development of product quality control plans
• Manage processes to address customer complaints and manufacturing & supplier quality issues.
• Proactively identify potential product quality issues. Administer and lead company cross-functional Quality Triangle.
• Influence design features and supplier activities to proactively improve part and product quality partnering with design and development community on new product development projects.
• Manage Incoming Inspection and Supplier Corrective Action Process
• Lead the Nonconformity Process through the Material Review
• Oversee the investigation, identification and implementation of root cause failure analysis and corrective action of all customers returned products
• Lead the Stop Shipment Processes
• Document production inspections, final inspection criteria and performs final system inspections
• Document and analyze production quality results, ensuring requirements are met.
• Manage the flow of quality inspections to make sure they are timely and complete.
• Organize and manage Quality Assurance function(s) in close cooperation with customers and Company’s Management team (Member of Operational Management Team) and Engineering Department..
• Provide weekly standard quality reports
• Supervise, Coach & Mentor Quality team.

Required Job Qualifications (unless Otherwise Noted)

Educational Background

B.S in Engineering or Technical Field; or at least 10 yrs in a Quality Manager role in Manufacturing

Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence preferred

Previous Work Experience

10 + years of experience managing and developing a ISO quality system, implementing lean strategies in organizations, conducting management review of quality system; working with manufacturing, customer service and product development teams in driving quality in products and materials.

Special Skills, Experience And Abilities

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required. Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• Direct experience with ISO 9001 compliance auditing and similar standards
• Direct experience utilizing 8D problem-solving techniques
• Strong statistics background.
